Complaint Review: American Walk In Tubs ...Bill Pagono

I searched the Internet for a couple weeks to find a tub company for my mother who was ailing and had a prescription for hydrotherapy. I came across the American walk-in tubs and Brunswick New Jersey, called a few times never received a return call(that should have been my hint upfront). Anyway after getting in touch with one Bill Pagano I was assured that he was busy and didn't have time to answer the phones.

After I listened to his pitch and he sold me on the tub I wired him a check for $4000
two weeks later no tub it took over three weeks for my tub to reach my home when it did reach my home it was the wrong tub. After a painful installation process which cost another $3500 the bathtub did not work. So after several weeks of back-and-forth calling and proving to Mr. Pagono that it was the manufacturers fault I finally received a replacement tub however I did have to pay shipping another $250

I have to pay the Plummer an extra $1500 to install the tub after the replacement one arrived. To this day the in-line heater on the tub does not work and several jets are leaking Mr. Pagano will not honor the warranty do not do business with this company they do not stand behind their product not to mention they are very rude and unprofessional. I am currently trying to find other folks that have bought a tub from Mr. Pagano as I am putting together a class action lawsuit.
