Americas Best Eyeware,I don't think so!!!! ripoff
I'm glad found this site,I bought eyeglsses at America's Best and was really upset.They were having a special(buy one pair $59.00 and get the second pair free)your choice of frames ,they didn't tell me until I had found the frames I liked,that the special only allowed a choice of frames from the one rack way in the corner ( I don't think my grandmother would have worn them!)I got the exame,and was told I had a double astigma on on the right eye and that I was totally blind in the feft eye,and that they did not make contact lenses for persons with a double astigma,so I got the glasses,I had to get 2 pair,1 for driving and 1 for reading!About three weeks after I recieved the glasses the tint on the driving glasses began to wear of(keepin mind I don't drive often)within a month I could no longer see out of the glasses because the worn spot was right in the line of vision and in addition, the add was for $59.00 buy one pair get one free ended up costing $149.00I could have gone to Wal-Mart and bought reading glasses for $7.99 and they are better than the ones from America's Best!I feel like I was ripped off!I hope lots of people see these complaints and stop shopping at america's best!
