Complaint Review: AMERICAS MOVING NETWORK

America's Moving Network ripped me off. They are unprofessional, inept and total liars. Becareful, because they use different names: America's Moving Network, GLOBAL Moving Network, Atlantic, etc. STAY AWAY from them.

Here's what happened:
I got an estimate for $338.50. I only had five pieces of furniture to move. They missed the pickup date and when I attempted to cancel, they told me that they had already cashed my check and refused a refund.

When they finally picked up my stuff, they promised delivery in one and half week. Then they told me my actual charge is $840+ and put my stuff in "storage" until I agreed to pay.

It took them three months to deliver. Meanwhile, every other day, they kept promising me that they would deliver "next week". In total, I had 9 "firm delivery dates". At one point, they didn't even know where my stuff was because their driver wasn't calling them back.

When they finally delivered, three of the five pieces were broken, scratched and unusable. I've put in two requests for refund based on the insurance set in the contract. You guessed, NO RESPONSE!!

Throughout this process they were rude, deceptive and out and out liars.

I've already reported them to the Motor Vehicle Administration and Better Business Burea. This company is NOT regulated by FL state nor the MVA. They are operating illegaly and keep changing their names. They have not responded to either complaint.

Do yourself and anyone who is thinking of using a moving company a favor and stay away from them!!!! Better yet, send them an email saying that you've read this complaint and won't do business with them.
