i had a adjustable loan . asc acted as if they would modify it , i got the standard 2 months processing time speal . so for 2 months i paid 1200 more a month, at the end of 2 months i was told i did not qualify and had no other options , and that i could re apply in 2 months . i got my house refied the same week i got the letterfrom asc by residential acceptance out in utah . im saving over 1300 a month from asc. i was approved in 3 days and closed with in 10 . this is my point , if you are also trying to work out a modification with asc , dont waste your time on their 2 month delay , take advantage of the new fha loan guidelines. i am convinced that if they would not work a deal with me they wont with others . i make 6 figures and never missed a payment by a day . find someone who does fha loans ( funding pool) it seems the goverment is stepping up due to companies like asc .
