I have never been treated so rudely or with such contempt and defamation by any company ever. Hello Americredit, welcome to mean, life destroying stress, heartache and unfair practises.

I'm a single mother of three girls, ages 20 to 5 yrs old. Our only vehicle was taken without any notice because AMERICREDIT had information that my account was 3 months past due. I tried to explain they were wrong but it was up to me to provide proof I did make the payment they had taken away from me almost a year ago without notification or thorough research on their part. I had to send proof that I made the payment.

After I contacted/received the proof of that payment from my bank, I quickly contacted AMERICREDIT about my payment that cleared and was asked what I wanted them to do about it.

I was shocked, again I said I wanted my payment re-applied correctly back onto my acct and was flabbergasted by being told that the rep didn't think they could do that!

Several customer reps told me that if it was their mistake I would have to provide proof and then make any payments outstanding up to date and my account could be reinstated and I would have my car returned to me.

I jumped through their hoops, I provided proof on my payment, I told them I had the funds to bring the acct up to date, current insurance and credit references. But now I'm told if I want my car back I have to payoff the loan, over $6000.

So now they won't do anything, the won't contact me, they won't research nor admit they made an errour. Now they sit there at their pretty little jobs, with free money (my money)in their pockets.

I've pretty much lost out on $281.00, been charged late fees, repo/storage fees, have delinquencies on my credit report and no car. And now a $2400 loan that I received to get the car repaired because it had sat for 5 months with a disabled timing chain and bent valves. I had it for only two days after it was fixed.

They have ruined my credit, my life and it's no big deal to them!
