Americredit harrassment by phone not only to me, but also my family and friends, they also played a role in my leaving my previous job Fort Worth Texas

They started calling 4 days before my first payment was due. They called me relentlessly, they called me at work, they called my parents, my frieds, my family. I answered the phone for the first 60 phone calls and told them how rediculous this was. I get upwards of 8 calls per day. I told them I wasn't going to answer the phone anymore, but then they started calling the people on my reference list (who have yelled at them). I told them that my reference list was NOT to be used as a contact list in any way shape or form.

Have they listened to me? No, of course not. They called me so often at work, that I was given the choice of leaving on my own, or being let go because I was "receiving too many personal phone calls". The only problem with that was that THEY were the personal phone calls.

I call them back when they leave me messages and get put into voicemails. They then call 8 times the next day, all while I'm at work. They are now mad because I won't divulge my current work address or phone number. At what point does it become harrassment?

Seriously, in total for the past 3 weeks, I have received over 160 phone calls from Americredit, not to mention the number of times they've called people other than me so they can use them as a message service for me.
