I issued a complaint regarding AmeriCredit once before on this web site. I have contacted a lawyer in the mean time. I was told that there wasn't much I can do against AmeriCredit and their verbal abuse and slander to me. The lawyer told me to try to get refinancing on my home and have them pay off the car or take out bankruptcy.

I am in the process of hopefully refiancing my home and including the car. I told AmeriCredit this but they kept calling my home every day. My husband also told them this and they insisted that we needed to pay them at least $200 until the refinancing done. I told them no because I knew they wouldn't credit that payment and would come out $200 ahead.

I totally feel it's wrong for how AmeriCredit treats their customers. If any lawyer out there wants to sue these people blind, I am sure you would have plenty of back up with all the bad reports that are issued on this website. I would be more than happy to be a witness in a lawsuit against AmeriCredit.

I wish someone out there would take this company to court and nail them to the wall for all the wrong they are doing. Just because AmeriCredit holds the loans and are not a third party collection agency, they think they can get away with murder. And evidently, so far, they are!
