It is Amerigas corporate policy to charge their best customers their highest possible price. 



 I paid in advance. I have been a customer for 8 years. I accepted delivery on their schedule. I have never been in arrears. My usage is over $1000.00/year.



 My neighbor told me he had been paying $1.99/gal for propane all year. I called my company. Nikki quoted me $3.45. I told her of my neighbors price. Your price is $3.45. I arranged to have Mooresville Propane set up a new account and called Amerigas back to cancel. They offered to match the lower price. A 71% reduction. How unethical is that? 



 The local manager, Garren, patiently explained to me that ALL major US companies(he cited Directtv and AT+T) charge lower prices at first then raise their rates. It's how business is done, he said. This is their corporate policy.



 They have $380.75 of my money. They finally picked up their tank(after 2 missed appointments) on Dec 15 but will not close my account or refund my money. I received a BILL in the mail today(Jan 12) reminding me I had missed 2 in-advance payments.



 I calculate they have overcharged me $1140.00 in the past 3 years alone.



 I have written 2 letters to corporate HQ. I have complained 6 times by phone. They promise a response but they will not call. 



 I've caught them red-handed.  



 Please do not do business with ANY AmeriGas affiliate.
