Amerigo Moving Services Wanted more money for a second pickup that was already paid for Bronx New York
We moved our house contents from Massachusetts to Florida. We also had a separate pickup in North Wales, Pennsylvania. This separate pickup was a dresser, mirror, small carpet and a box of pictures. The firt representative quoted us a price for this separate pickup and included it in our total cost. She left the company and another rep said she shouldn't have quoted us that price. I said if it's going to cost more money forget it, I don't want it picked up. She put me on hold and went and talked to a supervisor and came back and said for $17.00 more they would do the pickup. The total cost for the pickup in Pa. was $545.00. I agreed to this, but wanted it to be reflected in the quote that this pickup was included in the total quote. The total quote was $3,262.00, with the additional $17.00 that total was now $3,279.55. I agreed to this and everything was fine.
Now it is almost December and I still have not received this separate pickup from Pa. I called the company and they said I didn't pay the $545.00 for the extra pickup. I argued that it was included in the quote and I had paperwork to back this up. He argued with me and wouldn't listen to anything I said, even when I asked for his email so I could email him the quotes that showed my proof. He hung up on me and he is the supervisor, name is Jay, don't know last name. Even the rep I spoke with agreed that we had that agreement, her name is Roxanne. So now I have to find another mover and pay all over again for the same pickup.
