Back in January, my then girlfriend, now wife, took out a $200 loan from Ameriloan and OneClick cash. She agreed to pay both companies $75 every two weeks on her paydays and that the agreed upon amount was to be transferred electronically. things went good the first time. After that, things went haywire. Both companies would hit our account 2-3 times a day for amounts in excess of the agreed upon amount. One day, they both hit the account for $200 each. Another time they hit the account for $400 each. And they did this multiple times. The end results were that numerous overage charges were caused by their tactics and caused other checks to bounce which caused even more overage charges and bounced check fees.

For several months, my wife tried calling their phone number without any results. She would get a taped message saying that the offices were closed, despite the fact that it was during normal business hours. After several months, she was finally able to get through to them and got the name and number of a person there and was able to reach an greement with them on repayment of the loans.

I checked with my bank on just what all I and they could do to stop them. It seems that the bank can't do anything since Ameriloan-OneClickCash use multiple electronic signatures and they can't block them by name. I did ask for the paperwork to try to recover some of my money under Federal law and received it after getting the run around at the local branches.

I also talked with the Customer Support Fraud department and asked them about the ocerage charges. They said that the merchant, in this case Ameriloan-OneClickCash, is responsible for all overage charges that they caused. So, when we mail in our payments to them, we will be including the information we were provided and a bill for the 24 overage charges they caused. At $34 a pop, those overage charges do add up. We have also filed a report with the Better Business Bureau and are looking at possibly filing with the FTC since their services don't exactly live up to their claims and are deceptive since it's almost impossible to contact them.

As to their policy of having a place to view the contract with them, my wife was not given any sort of contract or a way to access the contract to view it, as per their web site.

debited my account 84 times causing $1780 overdraft charges

Yes, I too went to oneclickcash online loan. What a mistake. I actually was dumb enough to have three online loans all at once. The money was in the bank, but all three companies hit my bank for withdrawls over what the contract said. Some of these companies hit my bank 4 times a day for two or three days.

This went on for three months. There were 84 overdraft charges at 25 bucks per. My bank, Washington Mutual was very kind, and removed all charges. Yet I still remain in Chexsystems. The loan companies have been paid, all I am paying them anyway. My bank told me that these companies have committed fraud/forgery on my account. Withdrawls were excessive and legally I am not obligated to pay the online companies back.

These people take advantage of people who fall into desperate circumstances. I will never fall victim to them again, I would rather starve.

Starting reporting to the BBB is most certainly a start. I try to take it further when I was contacted by oneclickcash on the phone claiming my name and number has been indicated as reference.

When I ask in what regard I been told and I quote from your sister and we need her home phone number since we have only her work phone number which I replied, I don't give out that information and why don't you call her at work? That's when it got ugly, by listening to a barrage of cursing and cussing and when I insisted that I need to speak to the manager or department sub I was ordered that I have to call my sister at work and give her a message to call oneclickcash or I will be called every other day till I due what I been told.

Wrong move to tell me what to do since I indicated to the person from oneclickcash that not only will I report this to the BBB yet will also contact the FBI and the Attorney General for further investigation into there business practices and very harassing behavior. I have not heard from them since however my concern are the people that are vulnerable to these business practices which are at best extreme unethical to say the least.

Yes, I contacted my sister and she then indicated to me that she had similar problems then you with oneclickcash where her bank account has been accessed many times over a period of several months. She had paid back all that she owed in a timely manner. However, her bank did reimburse her and took action to have this oneclickcash investigated.

Good luck to you and your wife.

You should report your bank here too. They're jerking you around worse than that ripoff payday lender. File your Regulation E disputes in writing. The bank must reverse those UNAUTHORIZED transfers and refund any fees that resulted from them.

Why would a merchant ever be required to refund a bank fee? It's none of their business. The bank charged the fee, they must refund it if it was not justified.

Get as much of your money as you can and put it in another bank.

CLOSE YOUR ACCOUNTS! Problem solved. It sounds like you have paid the account in full anyways, so close the accounts and open new ones. Then, if they call you, tell them you will report them to the FBI, Homeland Security and the Attorney General if they don't give you back the $600+ fees they have caused you to incur.
