I applied for and received a $300 loan in Dec 23, 05. They continue to remove money from my account even though over 2 weeks ago they were told to stop and pay this loan out by phone. They show that they are going to take out only $90 on the internet yet according to my bank account they are attempting $195.00. They took out $210 on 3/2 and $195 2 weeks prior to that. I attempted to call and get no human voices noly the famous machine. They respond to no e-mails. I plan to call and tell them I will close the account as I have notified tha bank and told them to not honor any automatic withdrawls from them anylonger as they are now unauthorized. I unfortunately have one other company I have the same problem with and that is ZipCash. Unable to get a phone number on them and they too willnot respond to an so I will do the same to them and probably just close the bank account.

Here is a good one that sums up exactly the kind of companies you end up dealing with as well as the kind of shady people in their employ.

I apologize for any spelling\gram errors, this is a little long, and the point is more important.

I, in lack of my better judgement, and certainly never again, took out a small loan with AMERILOAN for $300. The process for getting the money was a little too easy and I can understand how people get into so much trouble.

I lost my job about a week after I took out the loan, and you know where this is going from here. First off I make the call to let them know about the situtation and they tell me that can't stop the debit against my checking account, even though there is no money in there (I soaked up about $120 in NSF charges from my bank as AMERILOAN hit my bank account every two days, sometimes even twice a day), real nice..

I find a new job soon, and after I get my first paycheck I notice a few things.. One, AMERILOAN has hit my checking account for a really bizzare amount, I don't recall the exact amount, but when I called and questioned them about it, even they couldn't make sense of it. I was basicly told, "that's the way it is". And they kept hitting my account. Also, around this time, I get hit for charges by a company called "USA CREDIT", for a small amount, about $20.

I have never dealt with this company before, and never had an issue with fraud. But as soon as AMERILOAN was given access to my account this starts happening, plus they are again taking money out of my account in a way that didn't make sense. And when asked about it they get you into this scripted maze of circular logic.
So of course, what can I do to stop this? Close the account. Called them and got the payoff amount, which of course was more than the original amount. I asked for a remitance address and told them I would send a check.

No problem, right? Wrong, problems are just starting.. I send out the check right away, and don't hear anything for about 10 days. Then I get a voicemail message from someone at AMERILOAN telling me that the check I sent bounced and that I needed to call and pay with a money order or debit card. No way did the check bounce, I had enough money in my account to cover the check 10x over.

So I call my bank, who I have a great relationship with, and they helped me and advised me as to what kind of shitbags these people, not just AMERILOAN, but other like companies are, and how to deal with them. They told me that the check in question had NEVER had funds drawn against it!! In other words, it was never cashed! Ok, how can a check boumce if it was never cashed? Lets find out.

Upon calling, the woman on the other end of the line pulls an additude with me and insists it bounced. I tell her no, and she asks me to have my bank fax over that in writing? Why? Who knows? I do as she asks and call back to make sure she got the fax, again, like I am bothering her or something. She then tells me that they don't accept checks, and on top of that, tells me that she called me on such and such a date and that we talked and I agreed to send an MO. I call bullsh** on her right away as the date and time of the alleged call and conversation we had was impossible. I had surgury that day and was on an operating table for 2 hours and then pretty much "out" for the next day or so, bottom line, never happened.. Hmm..

So first it was a bounced check, then she called me on a day I was under the knife, what is next? This was growing into one big lie and needed to be stopped. When I caught the woman on the phone in that lie, she turned it into an argument, which she lost, and I explained why not going to win. She very rudely put me on hold and told me I was going t speak to a supervisor. On hold for about 15 minutes, or sent out to drown if you will.

Hung up and called back and got the supervisor on the line. Very nice person, considering what I had been dealing with. She explained their situation to me, and I let her know my end. I started to realize that the faster I got these people out of my life, the better off I would be. So I agreed to let them do a ACH, with the check they had (which supposedly had bounced..)the next day. I didn't like that because I belive AMERILOAN is linked to the USA CREDIT fraud charges I had experienced.

End of a long story, they do the ACH, and my balance is clear. I ask them verbally over the phone, in writing in e-mail, as well as in writing in hard copy along with the check I sent,(which bounced, nothing worse than a liar huh?) to never contact me again and to remove me from all mailing lists. Of course I am getting e-mails telling me I owe them money, and yet more offers for loans..

How do you get away from these scummy people once and for all? If you ask them in every possible way and they continue to chase after you, for no reason, what can you do? My lawyer tells me we can sue, which I most likely will, for harrasment, just waiting on the lawyer to brief me on the procedure for filing. Have to see what happens.

There is my deal with AMERILOAN, a company to aviod at all costs.
