Complaint Review: AmeriMark Direct L.L.C.

My 86+ year old parents were ripped off more than $800 by Amerimark (see my earlier entry). If you were also scammed, PLEASE report them to the Ohio Attorney General's office. Ohio is where Amerimark is based. I did, and eventually got a call from them. She mostly wanted to know if my parents got their money back (they did, thank you Citibank!). While she was nice and sympathetic, she could only say that "We are watching them". Apparently they know what they can get away with, and they are doing just that. GRRRR!!!

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, take the time to do this. Amerimark is evil to be doing this, and corrupting desperate people who need jobs to do it for them. Keep America beautiful!
