I signed up on Feb 12, 2004, $295 dollars. Recieved the Brokers Kit. opened it verified its contents, gave the business a good look, decided it wasn't a fit, and cancelled, requesting my money back on Mar, 2, 2004. I was told that I had to return my Brokers unopened, to recieve a refund of 40 dollars. How is one supposed to verify contents with out opening? What about the $255.00 that went to purchase AmeriPlan University material which had not even been sent at the time of my cancellation?

I recieved the Ameriplan University material on March 18, nearly three weeks after cancellation and requesting, my money back. I boxed that up unopened, and put it with the opened brokers kit and shipped it back to AmeriPlan via UPS> It was recieved on the Docks at AmeriPlan on the 28th of March and signed for by a person named DeWitt. AmeriPlan has only refused to refund my money on the brokers Kit $40.00 and has ignored my mentioned refund for the unopened, returned in original intact packaging, ready for resale, AmeriPlan University materials. Those folks owe me $255 dollars at a minimum. They have only refused me for the brokers kit and ignored any mention of the AmeriPlan University package.

You failed to mention that the application and their website clearly state that broker fees are non-refundable. Also did you happen to notice the tape on the broker kit that said "NO REFUND DUE IF SEAL IS BROKEN" Maybe you should read things before you jump into them. Don't blame the company for your incompetence.
