Ameriplan USA Rip-off Would Not Refund My Money When I Returned Package. Did not refund my money when I returned the package Texas

I made the unfortunate mistake of joining Ameriplan USA.

I bought into their hype and lies at first. I soon realized Ameriplan USA is a scam and they rip people off.

I ordered the broker kit from them for $310 After learning how the company operates in such a dishonest manner, I returned the broker kit back to them promptly. I called Ameriplan on the phone. It's a long distance call each time to call them, they don't provide you with a toll-free one. After calling them and speaking with a rep they said I would get my refund in 30 days. It's been over 30 days now and I still don't have my refund.

Right now, I and reporting Ameriplan to Ripoffreport.com and the bbb.com for not refunding my money like they said they would.

I urge anyone out there if you are considering joining Ameriplan, do NOT. Ameriplan USA is nothing more then a MLM pyrmamid scheme and they will rip you off given the chance.

I hope this message reaches many others out there before it's too late, and Ameriplan rips you off.

I haven't seen my refund either!

Try as they may they cannot claim that these reports and rebuttals are not valid. They even try to blame the site in certain rebuttals for not including information.

It is not ROR's responsibility to include such information. The reports just like the rbuttals are entered as is unless there are links to potentially problem web sites or foul language. You can also find rip-off reports on their top enroller Jud Morris.

I refused their package at my door and have not been contacted about my refund or any complaints. Now I must go through the trouble of disputing this charge on my card.It took about 60 seconds for this charge to appear after I enrolled. Yet the refund has taken over a week thus far. 06/15/06.

AmeriPlan Ripoff?

#13UPDATE Employee

Mon, May 29, 2006

Hello Everyone,

I am new to the whole Ripoff report, but I found it today and I was extremely appalled at the audacity of people calling a very legitimate company, a scam.

I am an Independent Business Owner with AmeriPlan and have found of the past six months that this company is extremely reputable. It is the people that are "fly by nighters" that feel the need to bash a wonderful company because they did not "get rich quick". The whole premise that I base my AmeriPlan business on is the fact that Dennis and Danial Bloom tell us that if we CONSISTENTLY give AmeriPlan 8 to 10 hours a week that we will make $100,000 a year in residual income in 2 to 4 years. 2 to 4 years??? Hmmmm, that would tell me that they are not implying at all that this is a get rich quick scheme. I tell people every day that if that's what they are looking for...then just keep on stepping, you won't find that with AmeriPlan.

I have found that on my team that I have created of over 50 IBO's that there are some that are serious and want to work and there many, many more that ARE NOT. I have learned too, that it is a waste of my time to try and try to work with those that do not put forth an effort because I know they will NEVER be successful rather it be AmeriPlan or anything else.

As a former Day Spa Owner, I do understand that it takes a while to build a business...whether it be AmeriPlan, a burger joint, a Day Spa, a dentist office or whatever! I also know that there are a lot of businesses out there that you give a heck of a lot more hours than 8 to 10 hours a week to and you will NEVER make $100,000 a year...much less in 2 to 4.

I have to laugh at the uneducated or unmotivated that felt to refer to AmeriPlan as a ripoff because they didn't take the initiative to work the business they invested in or they didn't realize what they had. Knowledge is power...educate yourself on a business before you invest! I would have never invested in a Day Spa without knowing what it would entail. I would have never invested in a Day Spa if I wasn't willing or motivated to do the work to make it successful. So why would I handle this business any differently?

Finally, I don't know of any business that you can start for a mere $95 and make a $100,000 income in 2 to 4 years with only 8 to 10 hours a week. I challenge anyone to show me one!!! Network marketing is not for the weak at heart...it is for the strong that WANT MORE OUT OF LIFE! It is for those that can see a vision, focus on the prize and ACHIEVE THEIR GOALS.

If you were not successful, don't blame AmeriPlan and don't blame your sponsor. Blame yourself for not doing your homework and educating yourself about all that it entailed before you signed on. Would you start any business that you weren't educated about? I think not. And don't blame your sponsor because you signed up and did not do the work. AmeriPlan is work...I tell people all the time before I sign them up and on my training calls with them...It isn't easy, but it's simple...It isn't I'll do the work for you, but I will show you how to do the work. That simple...I can lead a horse to water, but I can't make it drink. I can train you on how to be successful with AmeriPlan, but you have to do the training. You have to listen to the training calls and learn what AmeriPlan is about and what it entails.

It won't fall in your lap, but it will greatly reward you in the future if you are willing to put forth the effort.

God Bless you all!

To your success!

When checking out this company look under Ameriplan USA

#13Consumer Suggestion

Wed, May 17, 2006

To whom it may concern,

This is to inform the public better. On what is being said about the company. AMERIPLAN USA is not only registered with the Better Business Bureau, but also the National Association of Dental Plans, U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Consumer Health Alliance, and the Direct Selling Association.

This company in no way say's, they are insurance. It CLEARLY states it is "NOT INSURANCE" in all the products it has. Such as brochures, dvd's, applications, websites, even on the Better Business Bureau reports.

It has a website that you can see. Just by putting the name "ameriplanusa". At the bottom of the websites it's in really big red letters stating it's not insurance.

I hope this clears up confusion about this company. Ameriplan USA is not out to give out false information. This is a real company with more than 1.7 million customers that utilizes it's products everyday.

As for saying this company has a lot of complaints on this website. Tell me what company that is nation wide is not either. Every where you look in this website most major nation wide companies have complaints. Many have way more complaints then this company does.

Ameriplan USA is "NOT A SCAM". Please do the research and ask all the questions before making your decisions.

Very Respectfully,

Sue

AMERIPLAN NOT BBB MEMBER

#13Consumer Suggestion

Tue, May 16, 2006

bbbonline.org Ameriplan IS NOT a member of the BBB and YES, there are several complaints on the BBB website. Of course you have to check each address for this company and you'll find how "offices" have shut down and no way for consumers to get their money back! Seems many complaints filed in the Dallas office! I would not say they were in good standing with the BBB due to the facts found on the BBB website. Perhaps the salespeople that think this company is so great should do a little research on it's ethics.

Report Ameriplan

#13Consumer Suggestion

Tue, May 16, 2006

MANY complaints about this company are found under several headings on this website. Many complaints are from consumers who have been misled that Ameriplan health discount products are insurance which they are not. Health insurance companies and agents MUST be state licensed by the states they sell health insurance in no matter what some salesperson may tell you.

If a discount health plan is sold to a consumer as health insurance it is FRAUD. I suggest all victims report this company to the following offices in each state that the consumer has been ripped off. Report the company to your state attorney general's office and they all have consumer protection and fraud dept.'s, your state insurance dept. if the plan was sold to you as health INSURANCE as all dept.'s have a consumer health fraud division, The Federal Trade Commission, your local BBB and consumer affairs office.

Just because a company SAYS it's endorced by the BBB it does not mean that they are and you can verify that at the BBB office, your local consumer affairs office. If you've purchased either a consumer product or a salesperson kit and feel that you have been ripped off, contact your credit card to put a dispute on the charge to get your money back and if you used a bank account notify the bank that you want to stop the charge and close the account.

Any company that has as many complaints on this website as this company does, needs to be dealt with harshly and swiftly by the consumer and it needs to be reported to all agencies and goverment offices that protect the consumer.

There are many companies by several names such as this so please call your state dept. of insurance and attorney general's office if any company tries to sell you a health discount plan and tells you it is health insurance and please report them if you have paid for a product that was sold to you under false pretenses.

The consumer can shut these companies down and prevent other's from being ripped off. Report them immediately. Registering your telephone numbers on the DO NOT CALL list will keep some of these companies away but if they still call you, get the company name and number and report them and they will get fined.

This website is an excellent way to spread the word about these companies to protect the consumer.

Next time get the facts about a company first

#13UPDATE Employee

Wed, May 10, 2006

Hello,
I just want to inform you that. I'm sorry it is taking a while to get your refund back. I'm an IBO with this company. I just want you to know that any time you get into a company please do the research first.

I understand you are upset. It's your right. I also just wanted to remind you that Ameriplan USA is NOT a scam. It is a real, legal business that provides affordable much needed services to the average American family.

Ameriplan USA would not be helping over 1.7 million Americans today if it were a scam.

When you joined you did not get lied to. Maybe your sponsor didn't mention what's involved, or maybe you just didn't ask. Either way everything this company does is legal, in the way they recruit more IBO's and in getting members for the services.

If someone doesn't want the services or don't want to get into the company thats their choice. Nobody is hounding any one down to join. A simple "yes" or "no" will usually do the trick.

Ameriplan just provides services to people that want and need them. They also provide a great opportunity for a person to start a legal business. So please learn all the facts and ask the questions, learn what's involved and ask your self, if this is something for you. "BEFORE you join up"...

Thank You and God Bless You.

I am a proud IBO with AmeriPlan USA. One thing all individuals including yourself should take into account the risk involved in running your own business. You should have been told to sign up with unlimited long distance and not run up a phone bill over $2,000. Come on now, I have been with them for over 2 years now and my phone bill has continually stayed the same $45.99+ any applicable taxes, so what is the problem? The same goes for leads purchasing of those who requested information regarding the opportunity, Why would anyone spend over $50 dollars to start on leads that may not work.

COMMON SENSE is the answer! I was never persuaded to spend a whole lot of money on anything from advert's to lead purchasing, my budget would not allow it. It is extremely bad to bad mouth a company for your own misfortune or a few rotten apples. Point stated, you go into any opportunity with a risk of loss or a gain of profit. It's up to you to decide on how you plan on directing your goal. As far as those who lie to those they try to signup, you need to stop the crap. It's making it bad for the rest who are truly sincere and trying to obtain and maintain their dreams. For who ever is reading this, I went from being on welfare to having my own house and a care within a 2 year time frame and then worked and achieved my Bachelors Degree in Business. All of corporate america is a chance and all opportunities are risk. It take's work and dedication and persistance to succeed, not a cop out!

To All Ameriplan USA Victims

#13UPDATE EX-employee responds

I am an ex IBO with Ameriplan USA,
Belive it or not they Rip us off too!!

I got ripped off more ways then one, It wasn't until I had a phone bill of $2,000 Dollars and realized people I had contacted off a contact list give to me by my sponsor, to use free of charge, saying they had signed up under another
IBO I got suspicious. Was I doing all the work and was someone getting all my contacts? Why of course why else would someone let you use their leads website for free? If it's too good to be true it generally is!!

Just wanted you to know the people I did get to sign up I did refund their money out of my pocket and enclosed a letter of apoligy. After cancelling with Ameriplan I did get a nasty email, and still have it, Just encase we get to put them out of bussiness.

I also noticed alot of the big money makers were trainers, retired bussiness owners ect. I signed up under someone I considered a friend who promised me she would give mr back my money if not satisfied, she turned on me like a rabid dog as did my IBO Sponsor!! I guess when you get Busted with the truth it burns like hell when someone smarter than they thought you were is on to your scamming ways.

My apoligies to those whi have lost to Ameriplan USA, If you had done business with me I would have refunded, I treat others as I would like to be treated. Thanks for lending an ear!

Re: $310 broker package

#13Consumer Comment

Sun, October 03, 2004

Just letting another broker know that AmeriPlan does have an APP broker package totaling $310. This is the $295 package with the first months website of $15 equaling $310. This is what thee other people were referring to regarding AmeriPlan.

AmeriPlan is a good company, but I don't understand why they don't let their brokers keep the full $100 - $250 if another broker drops out during the 5 month - 12 month period, since they don't issue full refunds after opening the kit?

So in other words, for a broker that signs up a new enrollee/broker. If that new enrollee drops out within a year, the broker doesn't get the full $100 for the basic kit (5 mos. advanced payment) OR full $250 for the APP kit (12 mos advanced period) . That means that AmeriPlan pockets the remaining money for the kit that was sold & opened from their brokers efforts. So the brokers responsibility is to train & keep the new enrollee for at least a year to be able to keep the full amount of commission for the kit sold.

I joined Ameriplan USA as a broker Less than three months ago. In less than a month I made over $1200.00. In 40 days I was promoted to Regional Sales Director. I have recruited 8 Brokers into the Business and many many members. I have not had a single complaint from any of my members. and all of my Brokers are making money.

I will be a senior Regional Sales Director by the end of this month and hqave already developed a lifetime residual income of about $1500.00 per month. That will grow to over $3000.00 per month by my next promotion.

Ameriplan USA is a wonderful Company with a group of woderful helpfull people marketing thier product. The company has delivered on every promise made to me. And I look forward to a long and profitable carrer with Ameriplan USA.

There is no broker pack that sells for $310.00. Never has been and never will be. This guy is full of it. I dont think he ever was a broker. And if he was, he is probobly just upset because he realised that he couldent sell a bottle of wine for 10 cents to a skid row bum.
