Complaint Review: Ameriquest/AMC Mortgage

I, like so many others I've read about have been seriously ripped off by this mortgage company. Most of the "customer service agents" are rude and appear to not know what the word compassion means. Most of we victims are in a serious state state of depression as well as being majorly financially stressed then being treated less than human is a travesty!!

Today I find out AMC/Ameriquest Mortgage has been acquired by Citibank Residential Lending. The really funny thing is all the same telephone numbers, addresses, etc. are being used. Does that sound as fishy to you as it does me?

I live on Social Security Disability and a small Civil Service Annuity amounting to less than the now adjusted monthly mortgage, plus there are the utilities, food and other little bills. There is NO light at the end of my tunnel. Does anyone have a solution to this monster?
