Complaint Review: Ameriquest... AMC Mortgage

Well, i can say one thing, ameriquest's offices in illinois have been all shut down for a few months now because of the investigations and lawsuites so calling them would most definatly not do you any good.

Its funny i come across this post because my friend just asked me if i could refinance him out of his property so he can get away from ameriquest because they gave him a s**t rate of 7.99 with his 792 Fico and a property LTV of %75 also going full documantation wich would be the perfect candidant for a nice little %6.45 30yr fixed rate and imagine what it could have been in november when they refinanced him (when rates were in the 5's still). Oh yeah BTW anyone wondering why Ameriquest had such a high property value estimate its because their little Sure values or whatever its called system was based off of compairing apples to oranges. Basically they would compare a little 2br 1.5 bath ranch home to a nice 3800sqft 4br 2.5 bath home and overappraise the absolute sh1t out of a persons home hoping to throw your loan amount over the value of the home just a little so when your 2 yr ARM is up and your adjusting then you wont be able to refi because no appraiser would be able to get the value for the bank to accept the loan.

If I were you I would refinance before its too late. They arnt accepting payments so they are marking your credit with 30 day lates witch over 3 of them means usually it will become a %10 chance of being able to refi before your property is foreclosed on, Get out now before fighting it because it will take you too long to seek legal help before your property is taken. Just makes me wanna puke. Tain't the same ripoff reports website that I've been to.

I can think of no other company in this website that has as many negative posts about it than Ameritheft (oops, Ameriquest). I can't give you an exact number because ED's computer is slower 'n snake snot on a tin roof.

From all the posts AmeriTheft they must use Prison help to man the phones, lunatics to process their paperwork, and complete idiots at all upper levels.

There is a lot about Ameriquest. There are being sued in 48 states. 3 have won the battle. They are a preditory mortage company. It has been on the news here in michigan. I was a victum to them. Write your Attonery Generals office. Find out if in you state a class action suit has been placee. Reguards..

Thanks for the 'heads up' on Ameriquest. I myself was gunna refinance with them since there are no other posts regarding them. We who read ripoff report have always assumed Ameriquest to be top notch , and never a bad word to say about them.

Now i know different. Because of your post, we will not refinance with Ameriquest.
