We thought Ameriquest was the only company that would give us a loan. Thanks to my alert brother who sent my wife and me info from this site, we didn't get ripped-off. Ameriquest will lock unsuspecting consumers into outrageous interest rates and payments, from which there is no escape. On a 60K loan, we were to pay back 207+K!! That's if nothing changed over the term of the loan, which we ALL know, is not probable (according to other testimonies in this site).
Our "good faith" estimate had erroneous figures, which we told to ignore. My wife confronted our Ameriquest agent about reports from Rip-Off. She denied nothing then said, "Well, good luck to you".
Whew, that was a close one! Thanks again Rip-Off!
