Complaint Review: Ameriquest/ Now Citi Residential Lending

I got my frist loan threw Ameriqest, it ended up being a two year fixed, with a 11.75% rate, he changed the apraisal value of my home, like it wasn't nothing, just an ink pen movement. Now keep in mind my home was paid for, and i was trusting them to get me the best rate & loan possible to do some repairs, and to start my own business. I hate to this day I ever dealed with that company.

I've caught hell every since, just trying to keep my home. frist my payments were way to expensive for me to pay, then after about one year, tax time, they neglected to pay my home owner taxes, and I started receiving letters from Winnebago taxes, that now I owe all this money for late fee's, and that someone had bought my taxes, so to get it back I owed them. Then i found out that they had also added my 5 empty lots to the loan, which they weren't suppose to.

They finally after me calling about 100 times, got the taxes paid from my escrow, later billing me for all the extra fees, and adding them on to my morgage, which was their fault. I tried refinancing and no one would refinance me, because of the over value they gave me on my home, the only one that would refinance me was them. with another 2 yr fixed.

After the 2 years, my payments jumped sky high. Right now I'm paying $999.00 per mo. I am a single Mon of 4 children, now that all but one are adults, I'm ready to let this place go, because of such a high montly payment my credit isn't like it use to be, and I can't still refinance, I'm tried of trying, This was my parents home, I've tried everything to keep it while my children were growing up. I have friends with homes that cost them $150,000.00 or more and their payments are not this high, Ameriquest mortgage was one of the worse mistakes of my life. They really got me,.
