Ameriquest rip-off! Liars, harrassers, not worth it. Orange California
Ameriquest mortgage originally told us when we closed that we would not have a prepayment penalty if we moved, only if we refinanced. We do have a prepayment penalty, it's $6,000.00. They had no one from Ameriquest present at the closing. They rushed us through the process and the closing, hiding everything but the signature line. They call on the day our payment is due several times, even after they receive the payment.
We are refinancing with another company, thank god, and they were supposed to send our payoff over to the new company. It's been 2 weeks, and still not payoff. I contacted the attorney generals office, and ameriquest called back right away and said they would get the payoff over asap. We'll see if it comes or not. This only happened today so I'm still waiting. When they found out we were refinancing they called 9-10 times a day telling us they can get us a better deal, even after repeated attempts to tell them to stop.

Dear Apple Valley,
Keep Pounding on the Att. Generals office and B.B.B. in your state, that's what we all did in Mass., and guess what ? We got Ameriquests license to do buss. in our state SUSPENDED for 6 MONTHS, PLUS they have to be reviewed by our att. generals office BEFORE they are re-enstated..As of this date, i have been assured that if our state recives any more complaints against them OUR STATE WILL NOT RE-LICENCE THEM!!! So keep on hounding your state offices, they are elected by us to protect us.. the pen IS mighter than the sword, and by the way.. Jeff was MY loan officer.. i reported HIS name too!!
