I am one of the many screwed customers from Ameritrain. It saddens me that people can get away with this type of business practice in this day and age - especially when our own President is supposedly combatting executive fraud. It makes me skiddish about trusting anyone anymore.

My mother obtained the loan to send me to Ameritrain. I had just finished college (4 year degree, thank you) and was financially tapped, so she went out of her way to help me and thought she was doing a good thing for her son. Well, she was but Ameritrain turned her good intentions into a nightmare. Thanks, guys.

Hey, here's something I bet all of you students didn't know: none of the instructors at Ameritrain are MCSE certified - nor were they EVER certified. Pretty sad, huh? I found this out from a former employee of Ameritrain and it really made me angry. On top of everything else they lied about, they even went so far as to use uncertified people to teach the classes. Great. That was definitely NOT what I paid for. But, then again, none of this is what I paid for.

I really hate to even say anything, because there were some good guys at the Charlotte location who really went out of their way to TRY to make good on our purchases. Steven - you know I love ya, man. You're the greatest. Maus - you da man. But I can't overlook the fact that very little of what I got is what I paid for. I know you two tried your VERY best and it means the world to me - and I hold no grudges with you two. I am, however, HIGHLY upset with Douglas D. and Steve G.

Hey, another thought: did it ever occur to any of you MCSE class "graduates" that we only covered about two of our books from the MCSE book set? What happens when we get ready to take the certification test on - oh, let's say - Infrastructure? Well, more than likely we're gonna FAIL because we never even LOOKED at the book...and the same goes for the MANY books we never cracked. You know, we paid for thorough instruction. We didn't get it. NOT THAT THE INSTRUCTORS DIDN'T TRY THEIR BEST WITH WHAT THEY WERE GIVEN! I understand that. I don't have a complaint with them...it's the way the classes and school were set up that upsets me. All of this seems moot because it doesn't really matter since the company is apparently GONE. I can't even bring myself to list any of the other problems with Ameritrain because it just sickens me to verbalize them.

There were a lot of warning signs that I know I personally overlooked because I was naive enough to think that the school was doing its job. I guess I should be angry with myself for not pointing out those signs earlier on.

All I can say is that I hope Douglas D. and Steve G. find themselves in a HORRID financial situation and that they lose everything they've ever owned. I hope you two end up so poor that you spend your last days slurping down rancid soup in a hand-out line. I hope all of your neighbors and all of your friends and all of your relatives understand just how low, deceitful and malicious you really are. I hope your wives and children feel VERY good about the clothes on their backs and the roofs over their heads and the food in their stomachs - knowing that the money used to purchase those things came from lying, stealing and cheating.

One last comment and then I'm done venting for now: do you two really think that even IF you reopen a new location in Charlotte (which is your current outlandish story) that the students you've jerked around will actually come back and attend your classes? Give me a break! You must not have thought out the situation before you acted/spoke. You have lost all of the professional/business trust of your students. The horrible thing is that we KNOW you know that; what should scare YOU is that WE know you have no intentions of reopening because now you have NO students.

In a way, I hope you DO reopen in Charlotte. I hope it is necessary for you two to come to Charlotte to "reopen" your "new facility" (blatantly fictitious). I'm certain you'll have a welcoming party waiting for you to extend our most heart-felt and sincere wishes.

I believe the instructor you are referring to is Scott Jones. He claimed to have his MCSE, when in fact he didn't. Once management found out that he was not certified - he was fired!! Other than him, the instructors in Charlotte have all been certified in the courses that they were teaching.

Let's recall that the instructors only taught. I did all I could to help the students learn and pass the tests.
