I received a phone call from someone from Ameritrust Financial indicating I was eligible for a credit card and a $200 credit towards merchandise. I never received anything in the mail in regards to the catalog or the credit card!! However, the $200 is still missing from my account and they debited my account twice.

I have been contacting the company diligently for over three weeks since this happened to get my money refunded, I have used the email address and both phone numbers. The number 866-529-7037 goes in a loop and does not recognize any numbers pushed to obtain entry and then it eventually hangs up on you; other days you simply go to voicemail and I have yet to receive a returned phone call.

The 415-901-1680 number will give you a representative; however, none of them will assist with getting the money refunded and continue to tell you to call various extensions on the 866 number. I had one representative offer to send an instant message to have someone call and I still have not received a phone call.

If they call you, hang up! If they send you something in the mail, shred it--do no trust Ameritrust Financial with your money!

I told this company no 4 times!! i finally said to them send me a brochure twell that never showed up but a 200.00 debit did and now im out for rent and my 3 month old and i will soon be homeless if this company wont refund the amount which we never seem to get ahold of them. any clue what to do?

I am also a victim of the scam that Ameritrust Financial is running. I am a single mother who needed money and I thought that having a credit card would help me out a little. Boy was I wrong.

I was never told that this was not a REAL credit card. I was told the money I had taken from my account WAS refundable and that when the card was sent out to methat I would be able to takethe "vouchers" to thebank and deposite them.

After waiting 23 days to recieve a confirmation letter from them I signedand sent it back (regular postage) my letter got to them in 4 days. Why did it take so long for them to send me mine?

I had even called before I recieved the letter to ask for my money back because I was about to be late in bills. I was told THEN that it was non-refundable.

When I finally recieved the card it was for catologue purchases only, which no one ever told me.

So please tell me where to go to recieve your catologue because when I looked up Ameritrust Financial online all I could find were complaints not ANY web pages.

Anyone else out there DO NOT ACCEPT THEIR CARD IT IS A MAJOR SCAM. They don't even care that my children have to have less just as long as hey have more!

AND NO NONE OF THEIR NUMBERS WORK CORRECTLY EITHER.

THEY EVEN TOLD ME THEY DIDN'T HAVE AND MANAGERS I COULD SPEAK WITH.

Ameritrust: Tried Again, Failed Again

Dear Sandra,

I called the customer service number for Ameritrust Financial, again, as you suggested and I left numerous voice messages on the times that I could get through, but I have yet to receive a phone call.

Unfortunately, it appears as though you are naive as to how your company handles themselves and their consumers. I have not given any erroneous information in attempting to resolve this situation with your company, however, I have continuously gone unanswered and I feel as though they have gotten away with my money on two separate occasions and there is no remedy for it at this time.

If you have any other remedies as to how this matter might be resolved with your company, other than calling the customer service number that only serves as an answering service for the one person who handles refunds, I am more than open to hearing it.

We at Ameritrust are sorry that the customer has had problems getting through to our customer service department.

Again we cannot look up this account to find out any information unless we have the correct information ourself.

This is not the way our company operates and we would very much like to resolve this issue and take care of this customer.

The would need to contact us again @ 866-529-7037 and provide us with an ID # or phone contact numbers to look up their account and again try to resolve this issue.
