Ameritrust Financial More like ameriDIStrust and manipulative wankers sitting in a room scamming and lying to hard working citizens of Ripoff America Dunedin Florida
Like many of the people who wrote a report about what these people did, I have experienced the same thing. It is wrong and morally unethical to steal someones hard earned money for the sake of wanting to be lazy and sit on your butt and not work yourself. I am disturbed that people are like this, just as bad as a rapist and murderer.
I was contacted by "Ameritrust Financial" at about 9 in the morning on a week day. I was interested because they said Repeatedly that they were not a shopping only card company. They told me that they were an unsecured Credit card company and that they wanted to help me improve my credit. I asked a number of times if they were a shopping card because I just needed a credit card to pay my bills and establish a better credit history.
After insisting they were just an unsecured credit card I began to believe and understood the reason for the downpayment. A Promissory note was to be sent then after that was signed I would recieve my credit card of a limit of $2000.00.
Weeks went by and nothing. I called their number found on the shopping website and emailed.... Not a response or realperson. It makes me sick that even, no offense, that the woman who talked to me initially could have been so conniving and devious.
Then the damage was done and I was blindsided. I went to the bank after finding the "shopping" credit card that was supposedly not what they were. The bank could not do a thing and I was scraping pennies in order to get by. I filled a forgery packet with my bank and talked to every department in the banks system. I was soo unhappy that someone would prey on me like that.
I later learned I was not the only one. This company is running Ameritrust Financial- The Real Institution- into the ground and causing them to have complaints when they are not responsible.
Who ever is running this shrewd of a scam should be sued and brought down. They messed with honest and hardworking people who were only looking for their opportunity to get the chance to change their credit and making a better life for them selves.
Hopefully it isnt too late and we can catch these jerks for what they did and get some of the money back. Also I have contacted local media so they can get the word out and make people more aware... Cause the guy next to you could be next
