I was contacted by a nice girl named Jessica one day talking to me about repairing my credit with Ameritrust Financial. She explained to me that they would require a $200 deposit to open my account but I would receive it back in payment vouchers after paperwork was settled and I received my card. I told Jessica that I did like the idea of improving my credit however, $200 was not something I had available to spend.

She asked me when I would be able to do this I told her maybe in August but I wouldn't be sure for a couple of days. She told me that it was a one chance thing and that she could put a date in for August the first to have the money removed and in the meantime if I found I could not afford it I could cancel.

The following day I had gone over my financials and decided that now wasn't the time for this. I called the Customer Service # and told the man on the other end that I wished to cancel. I gave him all of my information and at the end he quickly got me off the phone with out giving me his name.

One month later on August 1 $200 was removed from my checking account. I contacted the company who reassured me the money would be returned, that the gentleman I spoke with had been let go, that they found my phone calls and everything was correct on my side I am entitled to a refund. Then suddenly they stopped returning my phone calls.

I have had my bank investigate this and they claim that Ameritrust states that they inform the person on the phone that a cancellation can not be made. I have been robbed! Not only did they Steal my money. They never even sent me a credit card or any paperwork to sign.

This company is the worst around. And if you tell the customer service person about this website they will tell you that every complaint they have ever received has been handled in a timely manner. That's a JOKE They STOLE My Money On August 1, 2006 Today is September, 29 2006. I do not believe that to be in a timely manner.

Whatever you do don't mess with this company. I am a single mother of two struggling to support my family and having to deal with being short $200 is not easy. I wish someone would have told me about this website before I got into this mess I would have just hung up the phone.

We would really like for her to call us @ 866-529-7037 which is our customer service department.

Under her name only we are not finding any information for this customer, so we would need more information to look her up.

We definately want to resolve this issue with her and if has paid her $200 deposit we want to get her card to her along with extra payment vouchers to make up for any errors that might have occured.

Please contact us as soon as possible to get this matter cleared up.

Sincerely,
