Information reported relative to damages are contradicting.  Displayed in the records on Amica's website as "Loss description: Collapse/Settlement"; however, when I requested to have this report, Konkle's e-mail stated, "We will not be obtaining a report from Mr. McIntyre as he was unable to determine the cause. The cost to try to determine the exact cause of this damage will exceed the cost to complete the repairs. Therefore, we will not be paying for Mr. McIntyre to complete any further inspections. I have attached a folder of photos. Marvin S. Konkle, CPCU Branch Manager Amica Mutual Insurance Chicago Regional Office 1-888-612-6422 ext. 21154 Fax: (866) 759-3295 Email: mkonkle@amica.com"

Seems to be a case of withholding information.  Also, Konkle and Jon Pini of Nixon and Co. advised of hail damage to the home.  Konkle advised Amica would not cover due to hail occuring in the past while I was insured with another company.  Yet, the prior  insurance carrier advised there was no hail damage after the hail storms.  The insurance co. "subsequent to" Amica have inspected the roof as well - no hail damage reported.  As far as Jodee is concerned, she would not respond to e-mailed inquiries on the home - even upon follow-ups and leaving her a v-mail message.  Just put the few pieces I have provided together and determine for yourselves.  I would strongly consider looking into using Amica Insurance.  AAA ratings do not substantiate actuals (watch Inside Job).

FRAUD BY AMICA SUGGESTION!

#3Consumer Suggestion

Like you, the problem was of no fault of my own.  Out here in Las Vegas NV, Amica used Carl Levin and Associates!  My suggestion to you is to REPORT It to Federal Trade Commission, Better Business Bureau and the Insurance Regulatory Board.  I have Gulf War Illness as does my husband and the place we were living at called Hampton Court/Enchanted Gardens LLC, knew of exsisting problems and Clark County Building Inspectors are crooked.  Next hopefully with the combined efforts of all those reporting problems with Amica Some ATTORNEY will see it and Take their sorry concerns to Court and settle it once and for all!
