Complaint Review: Amir Shahab Mohseni

 Several years ago I needed a root canal done. my Safeguard Dr. Rahnama, referred me to Dr. Mohseni.  In the chair after being prepped, Dr. Mohseni  said because I had a gold crown on the tooth, it would be an extra $250 to drill through the gold. Since I was already in the chair ready to go and not knowing any better, I said OK.  Later, talking to a neighbor, who is a dentist, I found that drilling through the gold crown was a standard procedure and should’ve been done at no extra charge.

 This summer I again needed a root canal this time for two teeth. again I was referred to Dr. Mohseni who said my insurance would pay for the two root canal‘s but he needed to do extra drilling and that would be $600 extra for the two teeth. seeing I was about to be ripped off again, I said no thanks and left. in my car on my way home, Dr. Mohseni’s receptionist called and told me the doctor would do the extra work for 500 dollars cash. I again declined. 

I called Dr. Rahnama and told him what transpired and to not  refer me to Dr. Mohseni again. Dr. Rahnama then referred me to Dr. Izadi, 22982 El Toro Rd Suite 100, Lake Forest, CA 92630 PH (949) 305-0202 fax (949) 305-0203.

Dr.Izadi ultimately preformed the two root canals at no extra charges. He is the most professional dentist I know. Very courteous  very respectful, with a modern Office and equipment. Please put Dr Izadi on your ”A” list and get rid of that crook Dr. mohseni.
