I wish I would have done a little more research on this company BEFORE I sent in the card requesting more information.  Now they have my name and phone number and will no doubt be calling me.  I refuse to do business with any company that treats their employees so badly.  The quality of the work environment will reflect in the quality of service you receive.  It is very disappointing to see there are more grievances filed against this company by employees than consumers.  Maybe they do have a good service to offer, and maybe I will be doing an injustice to the employees by refusing this service, but maybe if more people see this report and do the same, the work environment will will change.  In my work career, I had plenty of management experience (27 years) and while money is NOT a motivator, lack of money is definitely a NON-motivator. 

The reason I elected to learn more about the services AmMed Direct offers is because it is a local company and I like to support local merchants when possible.  I have heard there is another company in a neighboring city that offers the same or similar service.  I believe I will look to them in the future. 

I am very disapointed to see how AmMed Direct treats their employees.  A company is only as good as their employees.  Unfortunately, AmMed Direct does not see it this way and I assume that attitude will be the downfall of this company.
