Amore Bridal Ruined My Bridal Party Centralia Washington
Amore Bridal was the first place I went when I became engaged. What a mistake!! I found a dress and bridesmaid dresses that I absolutely loved and thought what the hey this place is local and easy to get to so why not. That's where it began.
Not only is the owner absent minded, but she is hard of hearing and never wears her hearing aids....how can you run a business like that, you have to repeat yourself after everything you say! I had a file set up so my bridesmaids could go in without me and take care of business if they had to, and every time I returned or my bridesmaids returned she had no idea who we were, we constantly had to remind her. Just personal opinion, but when your finally engaged and getting ready for one of the most important days of your life, you would think your bridal shop would know the names of their brides!! just me though.
So I had a pregnant bridesmaid and Amore Bridal had the bright idea of waiting until she got bigger to order the dress so we would have a better idea of size...sounded good at the time. We discussed this in November and my wedding day is March 28th. She said "just come by the first two weeks of February and we will get the dress ordered". So when it came time, my bridesmaid went in and the owner had no clue who she was and mistook her for being in another bridal party and then once I called to straighten it all out she said it was too late to get the dress!!! So my bridal party was ruined....this person is a close friend of mine and it was really disappointing and heartbreaking that she could no longer be in the wedding! "word of advice to Lewis County brides....GO TO SEWSIES!!!!!

Nice try but we came in the second week of February like we were told, if you do the math that is SIX WEEKS before my date of 3-28-09. Whatever helps you sleep at night

I happen to know that this individual was told to get her bridesmaid in about FIVE weeks prior to the wedding. I also know that the bridesmaid told the sister of the owner (who was helping out that day) that she knew she should have come in sooner! Now they want to put the blame on the store! This ripoff site is supposed to be used for legitimate complaints - not just because someone waited too long and then needs to blame someone else for their own procrastination.
