Complaint Review: AMP Talent

AMP Talent is a huge scam and waste of money/time. When I first signed with Anne Marie Perrault she told me that I had to pay an upfront fee of around $200 and said I needed to pay extra for these stupid acting job posting sites. At first I was hesitant because I've checked that they weren't apart of ACTRA, and that normally talent agents don't ask you to pay an upfront fee when signing with them. I cracked under pressure and decided to pay, however Anne guarnteed me that I would be getting work or else she'd just be wasting time with signing me. A couple months had past and no response or any contact had been made with me. Then when I called her and asked her how things were going with my castings she just told me that it was a slow period and that I would get calls soon. To this day I still haven't gotten any calls or any email from them updating me on how things were. Don't sign with Anne it's a huge scam and waste of money.
