Dear Frank,

Thank you for your efforts in exposing and bringing to justice the Gordon Group, American Fone company, AMR, TigerDirect, Systemax, TigerDirect. I unfortunately am also a victim of their fraud. And even more unfortunate, I did not detect this rip-off for 10 months. So at $61.02 a month, this adds up to $610.20!!!

I just found this all out about an hour ago. I called my credit card company, and they said that they only go back 6 months in fighting false billings. They did put me in touch with the American Fone company, which of whom I had never heard of. The lady who took my call was very friendly and helpful, but sounded a little shaken. She (Janet) told me the company has a policy of refunding 7 months back, and that I would need to fax her copies of my credit card billing statement in order to be reimbursed.

It was not until after talking with the American Fone company and my credit card company that I looked on the web and found your site and read several accounts that sounded as if I was reading my own story. After reading the accounts on your site, I am now very nervous and concerned as to whether I will ever see my money again. And to make matters worse, I was just laid off last month and have not been able to find new employment yet.

By the way, the way I figure they got my information, including Credit Card number, is through my purchase's at TigerDirect.com. Which as you might imagine, I'm not to happy with TigerDirect right now either. I will be contacting them also.

Do you have any advice for me? Is there anything that you can do to help me? I truly do appreciate any input you can give me, and again, thank your for all the effort you have already put into this.

Sincerely,

We received the letter below from the author of this report.

Dear Gary,

Thank you for your incredibly quick and positive response in this matter.

I cannot tell you how much I appreciate how well you and your company have responded to me and this situation. I must say, I did not expect it, because normally when things like this happen, you expect the worst. But you and American Fone have pleasantly surprised me.

All of my contact with you since this issue has arisen has been very positive. Everyone at your company, including yourself has treated me exceptionally well. And not only have you taken the time to talk to me about this matter to resolve it, you have put your money where your mouth is. Today I received a check from American Fone for the Full Refund!

Your courtesy and quick response in this situation has been truly amazing to me. I do believe that if more companies responded to these types of issues as American Fone has, this country would be a better place.

Again, thank you for all of your help in this matter. And when I do purchase a prepaid calling card, you will be first on my list.

Sincerely,

Roland K. Sxxxx
