Complaint Review: AMR ld service plan

I noticed thru checking my checking account transactions online that there were several charges to my account for the amount of 60.02 that were out of line from AMR LD Plan.

I had a long distance service progam with DirectOneUSA which charged the same exact amount. And over the past I had numerous problems with their billing.

So, when I saw this charge I assumed that DirectOneUSA had gone to another billing company. And let it ride.

Subsequent scrutiny of my account showed additional charges for the same amount from another billing company.

I called the phone # that appeared on the statement and the lady I spoke with refunded the charges and cancelled my service.

Next month the AMR LD charge showed up ... I have filed a fraudulent charge report with my credit union for both charges. And my credit union is checking into the matter, to include if they can block any further transactions from this company from posting against my account.

I'll keep you posted on any developements ...

I haven't purchased from TigerDirect but I do frequently make internet buys. I find it ironic that the charge amount is exactly equal to my fees charged by DirectOneUSA.

I wonder if they have provided any information to AMR!!!
