I found a unauthorized charge on my bank statement for $61.02 from AMR LD SERVICE.

I found that it was a charge for long distance services. I do NOT own a telephone and would have never signed up for such a service. I had found that Tiger Direct sold my account information to AMR.

I went back to www.tigerdirect.com and re-read the privacy policy.

Nowhere in the policy does it say that your credit card information would be sold to any company. I

contacted both AMR and Tiger Direct. I am supposed to receive a charge back from AMR but Tiger Direct was just plain rude on the phone.

I am thinking of taking some sort of legal action against both companies.

I have contacted the Indiana Attorney Generals office. I think everyone should do the same and get both companies to stop the unauthorized selling and billing for services.

It just pisses me off they can be so bold.

John,

So far you've done everything right, but don't trust the slammers. Contact your credit card company and file a fraud complaint so they will be put on notice about AMR's practices.

Good Luck
