I received this very official-looking envelope that said on the front: "Attention: Highly Personal". The letter said that if I "have and return the pre-selected winning number for administrative resolution, the AWARD is yours, to be paid with no taxes withheld". My 2 options were: 1) 30 equal & annual installments of $33,333.34, totalling $1,000,000.00, or 2) a single, lump-sum cash payment of $501,000.00.
They do it in such a way that you think you have already won, of course, so you read on. It all looked very professional and personally addressed.. so much that I actually read the whole letter, which I never do! Then I spotted the "enclose $11.89.." and I laughed. Then I went online, did a search for the company, and fortunately found your site with the letters written by Judy, Tamara, Marcie & Nevadawin. I thank all of you for your reports. I felt very foolish afterwards for even opening the envelope, for I never open them, but this one was a fooler.
