Ancestry.com (AKA My Family.com)imposes a $50 Breach of Contract fee on a monthly payment option to an annual subscription. No where on the subscription page or their TOS (Terms of Service) agreement does it state there is any cancellation fee. I feel the company is in violation of federal law by not disclosing actual fees involved in any legal agreement. I urge all readers to contact the BBB, Federal Trade Commission, Utah Attorney General's Office and The U.S. Attorney General's Office urging them to bring legal action against Ancestry.com and all related company that are conducting business under this company.

An annual subscription to the companies 'U.S. Premier Collection cost $199.95 annual as of 02-12-04. Monthly payment option cost $29.95 per month for 12 month. Using the monthly payment option, the company is charging a whopping $359.40 for the same annual fee that cost $199.95. The administrative fee totals $159.45 to process the monthly payment. THIS IS INDEED A RIP OFF!
