Complaint Review: Anderson Fin Network - Bloom - Cingular

Anderson Fin Network - Bloom - Cingular Never Sent Me A Final Bill Instead Sent My Information To This Collection Agencey. I Did Not Owe Them 161.00 As Indicated On My Credit Report I paid for cellular phone insurance for years. the 1st time the phone got lost I had to pay 75.00 to replace the same model. The 2nd time they discontinued the model and wanted me to pay full price for a new phone though i had their inusrance Wilmington, Massachusetts

I contracted a phone with cingular for many years. I took insurance on the phone and was in good standing with them that they refunded my deposit. I took out insurance on the phone (nothing fancy) the first time I lost the phone they informed me that I had to pay an extra $75.00 dollars to replace the phone same model. (that was about what the phone was worth)they stated that I had to pay a deductable .

Ok, a few months to a year later the phone was stolen from the gym. I contacted them to turn it off and went into the office to file for a replacement. I was informed that they discontinued my model (it was a cheap phone) and that I would have to pay full price for a new phone. I refused because I was still making insurance payments and should be compensated. they told me no-therefor I cancelled my service the same day ( I was without a phone for a few days) and ask them to mail me out what I owed them.

I never received a bill and called a few times and still did not receive a bill now I am checking my credit report they have turned my case over to a collection agencey for $161.00 I know I did not owe cingular that much money. I was willing to pay off what ever I owed. I cancelled the service not for lack of money but because they cheated me and did not honor the insurance portion of replacing my phone.

I believe I had cingular since 1996-1997 had a good payment history insofar that they had reimbursement me my $300.0 deposit a few years prior to this incident. Anderson Fin Network/Bloom has never contacted me. its just there on my credit report and no one can give me answers. I would like to know what I actually owed cingular for my last bill, I know it was less than $100.00 and I wanted to pay them off and have it over. I did not want this on my credit report. thank you very much
