Anderson International Transport did not live up to the original quote. Once Anderson gained possesion of my household good, the pricing doubled. Once Anderson put the household goods on the international waters the pricing again went up.

Upon receipt of the new invoice I phoned Anderson several times. He refused to have any type of conversation to come up with a resolution. All Anderson said was if I do not pay he would terminate the shipment in Brisbane Australia leaving me totally hanging. This could not happen. I had to sell a motorscouter of mine to get additional money.

I paid Anderson another 1500.00. When my goods finally got to Brisbane I received a call informing me my goods were going into storage at 150.00 a day because Anderson did not pay the 3rd party carrier. A called Anderson several times - no answer. When I did finally get a hold of Anderson he told me he would pay it right away - this did not happen. Several days went buy with no money from Anderson and several days with of 150.00 fees incurred.

I called Anderson to tell him I could not afford the 150.00 a day storage fees and to pay immediately. Anderson informed me it was normal to incur all these storage fees. I called Anderson daily, everyday another story and everyday he became more upset with me.

At this point it became painfully obvious he had to plans to ever pay. I had to get a loan for 4400.00 to get my household goods out of storage and moved to my home. Basically, I had to pay again for what I had already paid for.

I could not let these items go - most everything in my crates were valued, irreplaceable family items from my brother, Father and Mother who are no longer with me.

I demanded Anderson pay the 1500.00 I wired to him. He promised me he would in 7 business days. Seven business days passed and nothing from Anderson. I called Anderson again, this time he told me he broke his arm and would pay me in another three days. Three days passed and nothing, this times he tells me he would pay in 2 days. Two days have passed and nothing again. It is clear he is not going to pay me. Keep in mind Anderson is VERY upset with me and now is sending me emails telling me I am the worst customer ever.

I want Anderson to pay me for the amount of money he exceeded the quote by and for the 1500.00 I paid him for the door delivery he never completed.

Anderson engages in hostage freight practices and should be put out of business.

I also need to mention all my software and other items are missing. I asked Anderson for claim forms - he refuses to respond.

Please call the Federal Maritime Commission, they follow up on serious complaints like this very well. They may even be able to pressure Anderson to return the money.

Seems they have an Unsatisfactory BBB rating for similar complaints, and Anderson does not answer them.
