After giving all my personal information and having a phone interview then a face to face I was sent to take a drug test.

When I returned I got a call that I could not be hiired because I do not have a drivers license or valid auto insurance. I was never told I needed these in order to get the job and now after they made me an offer and I went out and purchased the clothing they required they took all my personal info and left me out to dry. I even turned down another position for this one.

Stay away from them they are just out to get your personal info and have no intention of hiring you.

I just have to say that Anderson does not rip-off people or just want their information for nefarious purposes. I worked for this company for a year and was very happy there. If you apply for a merchandising job you have to expect that you will need a car!!! As for the clothes, it is black pants and a white shirt, which most people have already. It's too bad you turned down the other job but maybe in the interview you should have asked some questions.JMO

Im a little curious on how this company actually ripped you off ,i just applied for this company and have had and offer of employment and waiting on a background check for the offer to be finalized.at no time have they asked me to get special clothing for this job as of yet.and yes they asked me if i have a car with insurance.which i might add most jobs do and for the function of this company is setting up their merchandise in stores why would you think you would not need a car for this?again im just curious why you would post this on ripoff report this site is mostly for people that have really truly been ripped off IE: CREDIT CARD FRAUD,BILLING ETC .i reallly dont see how you have been ripped off did they use your social security number to purchase things.I had a job that made me get a certain kind of sneaker and then did not get the job you dont see me putting a article on ripp off report.
