Complaint Review: Anderson Truck Service

 Lease purchase program at Anderson is a deception with hidden gotchya's. I leased on as an owner/op with my own truck initially. Things were great for 3 months. Unfortunately my truck had a major breakdown. It was cost prohibited to repair. With my truck dead, I decided to go to Anderson to do their lease purchase program. Had to sit through another week of orientation in order to process thru the lease purchase program. The let you pick out a truck from what is available that week. All were used trucks, most with 300-500,000 miles on them. You sign lease and get truck same day at end of the week. In my case, I asked for newest truck available. They had a 2016 Cascadia with 100,000 on it. Took it on highway to go get smokes and noticed severe vibration. Went right back to lease office / shop. They did a quick check of tires, not the problem. Over to shop and test drove with mechanic who DOT ed the truck. He said he felt nothing wrong. Second test drive with his manager, he acknowledged problem. Return to shop and now its end of their work day. Lease agent asks me if I want the truck, I said no. He says they have no other trucks. Back to hotel for the night. Next morning dispatch calls me and says they are parting ways with me. Just so happens I was at my 90 day mark and had $1500 due on my sign on bonus. Lost that. Got screwed on my last check and then had the Manager of dispatch, some man named Kyle, call me and accuse me of being unruly. All the while at ATS they preach love and respect of drivers. A Christian outfit, they let that be known. The corporate office is a secure building, however and security cameras are everywhere. Cussing is grounds for dismissal. If you are in their system, don't rock the boat, you will be thrown under the bus in a micro second. Beware the eyes of March are upon you.
