 I paid Mr Lounsbury to train my horses. He cashed the check and didn't finish the training. Then refused to refund the remaining few hundred dollars. We paid for board and had no contract with them. When we left because of his bad behavior towards my child, they refused to refund the board we paid ahead of time. We loaned them money to buy their cows and fencing. Included were the fees I charged for transportation. When they wrote the check for reimbursement, they took out a month ahead of board and did not pay for the transportation. They also owe us for feed. They shorted us when paying for their hay for their own livestock. I won't put the rest of what he has done to my family here, as it's under review, but if you're looking for a horse trainer please use caution and don't pay Mr. Lounsbury in advance if you chose to use him.

 Hello I know the Lounsbury’s and now have been told this story many times. The truth behind this is a angry boarder/client that is bent on trying to ruin a great horseman. The parties involved where told to give notice to Mr. Lounsbury before moving their horses. They continued to try to make contact with Mrs. Lounsbury instead. They knew that the Lounsbury’s where not going to be home on the day they decided to move their horses, and when the Lounsbury’s came home, Mr. Lounsbury Nicely helped the clients load horse that they could not load. The clients where told that they where owed two more weeks of training on their horse in which Mr. Lounsbury would gladly horror; the client refused. The client was also told that they where paid until the end of the month which they wanted to move their horses that day and could not wait.

The clients also left trash and manure that they did not come back to properly clean up. The clients also trasspassed into the Lounsbury’s home during while the Lounsbury’s where not home using the keys that had been left in their truck; their son knew that Mr. Lounsbury left his keys in the truck often. The clients then asked for a few other items and where told that they could come get them, they would just have to make an appointment to pick them up. The client was very upset and demanded a refund of board and training. Mind you the whole time the client has horses with the Lounsbury’s she was getting lessons for herself and her husband and son.

She was informed that she was welcome to bring the horse back to finish training, and that there was no notice given for the removal of the horses and the horses where removed after the first of the month. The client was given a contract but never did sign it. As for the client stating the Lounsbury’s took money for feed that was for their own animals and fencing, I understand that the client was actually paying for her horses feed and fencing to separate horses her horses from the other clients horses. I have had conversations with other boarding facilities about the client and have been told that they are known in the area for leaving without notice and starting drama. They are also known for bad mouthing barns after they leave. I would honestly take this review with a huge grain of salt!
