Andrews Roofing Company Aka LIFETIME RE-CONSTRUCTION ripoff unprofessional, hidden roof violations, not honoring warranties, not responding to contact Orlando Florida
Contracted re-roof with andrews roofing (orlando, florida). Shingles not attached in accordance with building codes (concealed and only visible from attic).
Shingles fastened into roof decking seams and will not hold secure. Some nails verified to be non-galvanized. Attached shingles over wet tar paper against manufactures directions and voids warranty on shingle. may set up mold and wood rot issues later.
Roof leaked horribly prior to shingling and I sustained severe interior drywall and wall water damage that they are not responding to to have fixed.
FIND AND USE ANOTHER ROOF COMPANY!

Roof has CONCEALED CODE VIOLATIONS NOT SEEN at time of inspection. Nonetheless, must be corrected however as it STILL VIOLATES LOCAL BUILDING CODES, THEY REFUSE TO.
SOME IMPROPER MATERIALS USED and can prove. IMPROPER NAILING to decking making shingles weak and able to blow off.
FAILED AN INSPECTION already however, was passed without seeing the CONCEALED VIOLATIONS. LOCAL BUILDING INSPECTORS SUPPORTING MY ARGUMENT.
I cannot be contacted by phone, contacted at
e-mail or u.s. mail. That is not being difficult, that is a fact. They were advised from the VERY FIRST DAY.They are fast to take the money but, incapable to write a letter or e-mail...What about this "correspondence?", no reason why they can't contact me as requested.
They will not contact me in writing or e-mail as it appears to be too much effort but, can expend the effort to type here and surf the net and type their rebuttles...go figure!. How much effort does the consumer have to look forward to to having roof repairs done, fixed, or warranty work if it is too much of an effort to write a letter, respond to same, or surf the web?!

We at Andrews Roofing regret that Mr. Covino is not satisfied with his roof. However, the roof has passed the offical building inspection. We have attempted to repair the interior issues and are having difficulty due to Mr. Covinos request to contact him only via e-mail. When Mr. Covino provides us with a date we will send the repairmen back to complete the interior repairs.
