Called this company because I was having some trouble with my air conditioning. Turns out it was a fixable issues. The air was just too low and it froze. Well they came in and said I needed a whole new unit. I end up paying Thousands for a unit that was only 4 years old. On top of that I got charged other fees and the customer service was terrible! Just flat out rude. I will not be using this company ever again.

Stop trying to fool people. You posted as "my 44" in the beginning as the owner of the company then when warthog pointed out that my 44 is in reference to a hand gun you changed it to "hvac professional" don't misuse the word professional because you are obviously far from it. Also you gave yourself away by complaining about your neighbors as both screen names. You should just shut Up before further embarrassing yourself.

First of all these people are not customers. If these people had a legitimate claim they would go to the BBB. Who are you to judge Barbara? You don't even know who you are speaking to. I am not the owner but I do know about all of these people, you my dear do not. This whole website is a joke! Any one can say anything they want about anyone, therefore take your education and make your complaint on a reputable company like the BBB. You wouldn't use sources from a unreputable website or source for a college research paper? Just like anyone can write anything on wikepedia...and that, my lady, is not a reputable source. Thank you and have a GREAT DAY!

Is this how you talk to you customers?? I will take my business elsewhere for sure. You are embarrassing your self and your company. Your airing your dirty laundry on a public site. It's shameful. From the way you've been responding I have to agree with the report that you are indeed rude and therefore probably have poor customer service. It's disgusting I'm shocked. The way you are talking to your customers is VERY unprofessional therefore I will take my business elsewhere. I see why the person who reported this said you were rude! And "uneduated" No Hun its spelt uneducated... You should probably check your grammar before talking about people dropping out of school. Your behavior and comments on here are absolutely disgusting. Whether the reports are true or not you still have no right to speak to customers like that. I guess I will go to able air or somewhere else. What a shame. You ought to be ashamed. Airing your dirty laundry on a public website for everyone to see? It's ridiculous. You are obviously a very miserable and angry person. And I prefer to go somewhere with quality customer service. john you are far from being right your mother must have dropped you on the floor and kicked you down the stairs. Bet you'd like to know what my 44 is? Did you forget that your complaint was that your bad capacitor made your electric bill go up? You talk of honest citizens, you are not an honest citizen or neighbor. This company has never been to your house for work, therefore you are the wicked and fruadulent person for making a false complaint! You used to preach the commandments, you never did tell us the 11th one you always spoke of? But you're a functioning alcoholic and who can believe those people.

Any idiot like you can drop out of school and grind stumps! HAHAAHAAAAA

Just think of the way you talk about these innocent people. Just remember that you have a family too and anything can happen. Must be your IQ...Too much freon =coil freezes up which=the system doesn't cool the house which=the ac runs&runs which=the power bill goes up...Maybe Angel Air has been huffing too much freon...shows your ignorance in using this website to air your feuds with your neighbors,as well as customers who simply have a right for fair&honest service...Your so quick to trash talk honest citizens who just dont want to be scammed&are preventing it from occuring in the future but any idiot can go to BCC&get a HVAC certificate....The truth of the matter is Ray Harker is so obese,he couldnt fit in my attic to check the ac vent lines...Furthermore if you know the employees of angel air,its family run and they are some of the most wicked,vindictive,evil,fraudulent,ignorant people i have ever come across in my whole life....and thats not even exaggerating

John; anyone that has ever had a bad capacitor knows that there A/C would not work. You see John if the capacitor was bad it would not have started the compressor, condenser fan motor and or blower motor depending which capacitor was bad. You would have had NO A/C, and your electirc bill would not have gone up due to a bad capacitor.

John; Your electric bill is high because I can hear that a/c unit running all night long. Even on a cool night that downstairs a/c unit will run all night. This is probably due to the METH LAB you have in your basement John.

If this is true did you contact the Department of Bussiness and Professional Regulation or the Better Business Bureau. Well i have and Angel Air & Heat has been in business for 12 years and have NO complaints against them. The problem with Rip off report is they don't check the credibility of the author, and anything can be writen and no one will verify that the author is telling the truth.

If you what to get the truth about a company you should check with the Depatment of Professional Regulation and the Better Business Bureau, or your local building department. They will investigate these allegation and would not allow someone to slander a company the way Rip off Report does.

These complants are not from one of our customers, they are from a mentally disturbed neighbor that has nothing better to do.

Angel Air's response under "my.44" is a referance to a hand gun. Blaming the customer for not knowing what was wrong with their A/C system might be the reason that they called you in the first place. Just a guess. And calling your customers "idiots", and "liars", sure sounds like an unsound buisness pratice.Stop blaming your customers and look in the mirror. In response to the warhog's post in Grant, you're just as much of an idiot to post on a complaint about a coolant leak about air flow. A little lesson in Air conditioning for you is that is the unit is freezing up it is low on freon. The warhog elborates that this is an issue that can be fixed over the phone. So go ahead, loosen those valves and release the coolant into the air and why don't you inhale it while you're at it! Look on the BBB and you will see no complaints because this site is for fraudulent claims that would never stand at the BBB. The fact of the matter is you boys, not men, have nothing better to do than hide because your computer and your phones. How petty that you indigents have nothing better to do! As for john, this company has never been to your house! What a joke! A capacitor will not make your electric bill go down...I mean seriously you make a complaint about your AC but never mention what was wrong with it! What was it doing, do you know? HA

Reading your complaint I noticed it seems to contradict itself. You state your unit was "low on air and froze" sounds like it actually is low on freon which would cause it to froze. Funny thing is, this company has probably never been to your house and you're just uneduated.

Coolant Leak

The first thing is that the A/C contractor should have been able to locate you electrical or thermostat problem by performing a simple conductivity test. Placing too much pressure in the system can cause leaks to temporarily seal themselves, masking the problem. 

Also, after he had been there the first time and suspected a leak, he would have been required to drain and contain the coolant due to EPA regulations until the leak was fixed.

Additionally, if your old thermostat was the old style mercury bulb type, he should have taken that with him as these older style thermostats are hazardous and must be logged in and disposed of properly. If he just left it with you, he was just too lazy to do his job. This would not be the first time that this company as been warned about this.

And please; although this sight is to warn other consumers, I would very much like to know who did correct your problem so they can receive credit where credit is due.

Angel air came out tom ny house on 3 occasions and never fixed the problem with my air. First ray harker said it was a leak and added freon,never fixed the problem. The 2nd time he said it needed a thermostat,which he replaced but that still didnt fix the problem. The 3rd time he siad it was a leak again and   added more freon,still never fixed the problem. I finally had another company come and they said that there was way too much freon and no leaks. The problem was the capacitor,which they replaced and completely fixed the problem. My electric bill went from $400 to $180. Stay awy from angel air.

As a home builder, I have seen this problem many times and any reputable A/C contractor should have been able to tell you how to fix this over the phone. Your problem seems to have been that there was not sufficient air flow to the A/C system or, in other words, your filters needed changing. When the A/C system can't draw sufficient air because the filter(s) are clogged, the air handler continues to run to try and cool the house but it has insufficient air flow to do it job. This causes the A/C system to run continuously and the coils in the A/C system ice over do to a lack of warm, interior air passing over them.

If you turn the A/C system off for a while, the coils will de-ice themselves or you can use a hair dryer to aid in the process. It seems as though this problem could have been fixed for the price of a new air filter. I have heard similar stories about this company. I would suggest to anyone that they always get a second opinion in such cases. I would recommend Custom Air in Fellsmere. Their courteous, professional, and extremely price competitive. Also, I would recommend that you retain the old equipment if they haven't, already carted it off.

I know of A/C contractors who take out relative new systems like yours and then resell them as used or reconditioned. If Angel Air tells you that they now longer have the unit, contact the Better Business Bureau and file a formal complaint, I believe they may have to maintain records for EPA reasons. Also, if your old enough, you could contact the Brevard County Council on Aging, and, The State of Florida's Consumer Protection Division. Their located online under "My Florida" in the Agriculture Department. Good luck and sorry for what has happened. At lest you'll be able to smile when you see all there pretty Christmas lights on their home this year on US 1. I think you can see it from space! :))
