I am writing about an illegal internet scam operation which charges a fee for services, then does not deliver.

I purchased an astrological reading online at pro16.abac.com on 9/16. This is a secure page hosted by A+ Net AD384-ORG)(support@aplus.net, A+Net Internet Services, 10350 Barnes Canyon Road, San Diego, CA, 92121, United States, Phone: (858) 410-6900.) Complaints about A+ Net hosted sites should be directed to.

The payment to SARL ATOLL LE TOURNE was processed on 9/20. On the webpage, the listed contact was angelacontact@astro-group.com and it stated, "This reading will be sent to you DIRECTLY BY EMAIL within the next 2 or 3 days, I will quickly get to work on your reading as soon as I receive your confirmation."

Shortly after ordering I received a confirmation e-mail from angel@intrnic.com which stated, "This is to let you know that I have just debited your credit card and have started work on your reading. You should receive it by email in 7-9 days' time." I immediately e-mailed both addresses questionning the change in terms. I received no response from angel@intrnic.com and angelacontact@astro-group.com came back undeliverable.

After 10 days, I had not received the report I ordered, or any other correspondence from the merchant. I searched and found numerous complaints on ripoffreport.com and complaints.com. I sent complaints via e-mail to forecast2005@astro-group.com, angel@intrnic.com, angelac@astro-group.com, Angelac@intrnic.com, angelacontact@astro-group.com, reading@intrnic.com. This complaint was answered from forecast2005@Intrnic.com.
The answer: "You have NO reason to panic or accuse me of such allegations my dear. Your payment has been processed, and i'm working on your report. If you don't recieve it shortly, please don't hesitate to let me know.
Your Astrologer,
Angela"

Note that there is no indication of when the report is to be delivered, no explanation why it has not been delivered according to the original or updated terms, and no apology whatsoever for the delay.

I then e-mailed all those addresses again with the following message: Angela, I am not panicked, and I DO have a reason to accuse you and allege that you have not delivered on your obligation to me. The truth is that you have NOT delivered according to your own promised terms. I purchased a reading on 9/16 through a web page that said I would receive it in 2-3 days. Your confirmation letter said 8-10 days. It is now considerably past either promised delivery date and I have received nothing. Your answer(below) to my previous inquiry does not specify when I should expect you to satisfy your obligation. With that in mind, I am setting a deadline of 5:00pm GMT+2 on Monday 10/3, to receive my order.
Jeff.

Again there was no response.

It is my experience that Angela Curtis(if she exists),

Mr. Jeffrey,

It is appalling that experiences like this one occur on the web. Unfortunately, due to the open nature of the Internet, any person can own a website and offer to sell their services. Since this is the case, it is not possible for Aplus.Net to monitor the activities of our entire customer base, nor can we claim responsibility for those activities. Our purpose is to provide a product to our customers and they are then responsible for the use of that product. If a person rents a car and chooses to use it as transportation in a robbery, the robbery is not the fault of the rental car company. I apologize that we cannot do more for you in this matter. Reporting this to the authorities would be the best course of action. Thank you very much for your understanding.

Sincerely,
Amanda Rusich
Online Marketing Coordinator

I also urge anyone else who has been robbed by the Angela Psychic scam to file a complaint with the appropriate government agencies. In the U.S. the web address is www.econsumer.gov. It lists contact information for other countries as well.
The French government site is http://www.finances.gouv.fr/DGCCRF/, which lists contact information to file a similar report with them.

What follows is my complaint to A-Plus.net with their response first. I urge anyone who purchased a reading they did not receive to e-mail abuse@aplus.net with your story, then maybe they will shut the site down and save someone else some money.

Hello,

Unfortunately there is no way for us how to check all that history. We don't know if there was an agreement for what period the astrology reading should be prepared. Aplus.Net cannot take side in such complicated situations which can be most fairly resolved by the proper authorities. Though if you have some strong proofs you can always contact us to further investigate the issue.

Thank You,
