Daughter visited Angeleno Smile for free teeth whitening. They advertise this to UCLA students. Once they get them in there, they give the students an exam. Well, all of a sudden, they have cavities and need a deep cleaning due to their gums being bad. Our daughter was told that her gums were 4's and 5's.

The funny thing is, her gums are absolutely fine. Our regular dentist checked them and they are 2's. She goes to the dentist every 6 months. And, that cavity they said she has? WHAT CAVITY? Turns out that this is a common practice with dishonest practices. Deep cleaning is often used to ripoff consumers. Enough Dr. Parsi! Stop lying to get money.

Hopefully, students at UCLA will read this and will take your teeth whitening ad and rip it up. TOTAL SCAM!!! and unecessary drilling, for the most part, is being done along with scaling/deep cleaning. You have also been reported to the Dental Board of California. Hopefully, they will investigate your practice.

A matter of fact, she overheard a conversation between the dentist and another UCLA student. This student was also being told that they needed a deep cleaning and that they had multiple cavities. Not saying that this student did not have gum disease and several cavities. However, does every student that answers this ad for FREE teeth whitening have gum disease and cavities? Not likely. BEWARE, nothing is FREE. They will get their money, somehow.
