Complaint Review: Angelic Sanctuary Sonia Merino

BEWARE of Sonia Merino now operating as Angel Sanctuary Spiritual Healing Center in Corona Del Mar and Newport Beach, Ca. Beware of anyone named Sonia Merino as I reseached and found another scam artist with the same name.

I was introduced to Sonia through someone I trusted. I had no idea she was a gypsy, fitting all the negative stereotypes of con and thief artist! I guess it's the Merino clan. I'm a smart woman and I was duped good, she claimed that she needed more money and more money to continue to heal my relative's disease and that she had to pay a group of nuns in Canada to do constant prayer work as this was very serious. I was told is was St. Anne's of Dupre. She even showed me a letter received from the nuns (just the post mark) and took me to a church to pray. Then there was the 'evil' that had to be removed right away or my relative would die. Well there was no death and the disease is still there years later.

She was friendly and caring but very adamant that I see no other medium or spiritual healers while having some sessions with her. Then as I was no longer willing to pay for healing work she told me her father in law died and needed to borrow money for the funeral and would pay me back within a week. Well I was never paid back and she disappeared. It's been 6 years and there she is now in Newport Beach.
