Complaint Review: Angies List

I joined Angies List so I could find a few contractors for some work I needed done in my new home.

 I heard some good and bad things about them but since it was free I decided to give it a try. I ended up getting a bathroom remodeled and some work done on my furnace as well. I left lengthy reviews for the great work that was done and pictures as well. I thought that was all I needed to do.....

 Then I get an email that is very automated, here is what it said:

Thank you for your feedback on XXXXXXXXXXX in order for this review to appear on the company’s profile, we need further information from you. Please reply to this email with any additional contact information, including but not limited to, permanent or previous addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, and/or last names. Don’t worry, we won’t sell your information or share it with our members.

I replied to the email and was told that my personal information did not match my email address?? How can they possibly enforce that? My email name is custom and I made it that way to keep my ex husband from stalking me. I told Angies List this in an email and they never responded and deleted all my reviews! So glad they want to help my crazy ex find me.

They are a complete scam, also I should mention that I got a lot of phone calls from other contractors after my work was done. Seems like Angies List just sends out your informaton to all the local contractors around, I even got texts from some that were very pushy.
