Anglo American Investments ripoff, The scammer that keeps on scamming! Atlanta Georgia
Please be aware of these guys. They are total frauds. I've received this letter before as has a few associates but with the name Newbridge Capital and it was signed by Anthony Tobin. As you can see on this site, there are other Rip Off Reports about them as well.

I recognized the scam immediately. I looked in my files and found the letter from Mr. Tobin (one of many aliases). I then checked the Rip Of Report and low-and-behold, There he was again running the same scam.
So, I looked up the address on Google Earth and it turned out to be at a old strip center. When I looked up the address, it turned out to be a restaurant called Chopstix.

As trustees of Investments we would like to categorically deny any and all of these false charges and false allegations. While it is true that we utilize off-shore vehicles for our financial transactions we have NEVER used illegal funds to do so. To even hint that we are involved in money laundering is beyond simply irresponsible, but is also libelous. It is our intention to ask our solicitors to look into this matter and to pursue the person(s) who have made these scandalous accusation to the fullest extent, both civilly and criminally allowable by both United States and International law.
One of the main purposes of using a Tax Free Foreign Corporation, and this is always explained to every client, is that these off-shore Tax Free Corporations have extreme (the term by our off-shore solicitor is Draconian) laws and regulations in place to ensure that no money aundering, or other illegal money transactions take place in or through these off-shore
countries, or off-shore banks.
In addition, Investments is very clear that we do not charge any upfront fees such as: raising fees, application fees, presentation fees or nterest fees. Simply put, a fee is money for a privilege and we do not believe in "a free lunch". We offer an opportunity to people to present
their project to us, and if the project meets our criteria we present the project principle with an offer. We do not "hold a gun" to anyone's head to meet with us nor to sign our offer once they receive it. Anyone is welcome to work with us or we can agree to disagree and move on.
It takes a great level of audacity to make the ludicrous statements, and cast such personal negative attacks about someone, and then not have the nerve to put your name on it. I find it something to be included on this list, along with such names as President George Bush and Opec just to name a few. This is quite illustrious company.
Any person, who takes these kinds of reports as truth and fact without asking for a rebuttle, and additional information, deserves to live in their closed box view of the world. If anyone wants to have information regarding myself or my company all they need to do is ask me.

I find it incredulous that you would create an opinion purely based upon the receipt of an email that you felt did not meet your high standard for conducting business. Then based upon your opinion as to how an introductory email should be written, you then decide to label something a scam.
Have you reviewed any references?
You supposedly looked up the address on Google Earth. Google Earth only gives you a location on a satelite map (one that is about two years old) and that is all. They do not list business or property owners or lease holders on that address.
I have spoken to many people and businesses that have been helped with funds by Anglo American Investments. These companies have been located both in and outside the United States.
Luckily for Anglo American Investments, we know the kind of good business that we provide and perform, therefor none of us has to worry about the wrong "gumba".

I guess they don't spend much time on anything but trying to run the scam. If I was as criminally active, I would be checking sites like this one for people that know what they are doing.
Not only has the wingman Al been trying to propigate this fraud but, I've been toying with him and he doesn't get it. And best of all, I got a fresh "we are really interested in your project" letter this morning. I wonder how many of the scams I can juggle with them?
I sent a rebuttal last night ( did not know how to update) but I guess it did not get published. Google the names Barbara Foreman, Eyal Dubin, Anthony Tobin and you'll see that these guys have been at it for years with the same scam.
One of these days, they may mess with the wrong gumba and find themselves starting a reef off the outter banks. That is of coarse if their stench doesn't kill the fish.
