Complaint Review: Animal Tails Rescue

After waiting long and hard looking for the perfect family addition while battling cancer. We found PHE-PHE our shih tzu terrior. One year later 2 weeks before her first birthday she was stolen from us. We never gave up hope on being reunited with her. 

Ten years later I received a phone call from avid chip company that our pet was found and was in chicago. I was given the contact information and immediately called and spoke with Maria Therese. At this time Maria stated Phe-Phe was old,hand cancer and in poor health, and I was asked if I still wanted her back. My answer was yes! I know how old she and I will have her vetted asap. We then discuseed a good day for a meet, which would have been the following Friday(2 days). 

Now, anticipating seeing my pet again, emotions were running high. Friday came and Maria stated that basically she had to work and she would speak with me on Saturday. I called her on Saturday from Animal Control(Chicago) and she then demanded $1000 from me and to fill out an application to adopt my stolen dog. She is now not answering any of my phone calls nor is she answering the phone for the police. 

A police report has been made in Chicago and Linconwood for theft of property.

This organization is fraud. She's in for monetary gain,if she wanted to reunite pets with loving families she would not have suddenly demanded money . If YOU are pet lover, and would like to donate to the well being of pets. Please think about PAWS. a legitimate NON-PROFIT organization.
