Catherine Fillipelli is selling soaps made by Aniselle.com thru a website named Etsy. Her shop address is www.catherinefillipelli.etsy.com. Number 1 all items are suppossed to be handmade by the shop keeper. She is breaking that rule and buying them from another company named Aniselle. I purchased 1 soap for a total of $8.95 (which I'm a fool to pay that much for 1 soap to begin with) on 5/17/10 and still have not received the item and my contacts are going unanswered.

I was contacted by another Etsy shopper today since she saw my unhappy feedback on CatherineFillipelli's Etsy shop. She told me that she ordered 70 soaps in April for an upcoming fundraiser and has not received her soaps nor have her requests for contact be answered.

I would not recommend purchasing anything further from either of these 2 sites for fear that they are going under.

I own a bath and beauty site on Etsy as well and I know it's slow with the orders now due to the economy.

So is this person a reseller or what? She gives credit to Aniselle in her shop. So she's not being deceiving. But if she doesn't make it personally she has no business claiming she does.
Maybe she works for the company?
I'm confused lol
And you spelled her name wrong. It's Filippelli.

Well, for the most part... :)

I used to love buying bath and body stuff on there (mainly perfume oils), but I got burned rather badly from a company called 13Gypsies Perfumery.  Maybe you have seen them on there ?  They're getting pretty popular on there, so I'm sure you have.

Anyway, the "master perfumer" with "over 15 years of experience and extensive training in the perfume oil industry" does not make perfume oils at all.  She is thoroughly dishonest about this, and sells really cheap stock fragrance oils from saveonscents.com, among other websites.

I made this blog, because I discovered this in 2009, while others discovered this in 2007: http://13gypsiesexposed.blogspot.com/

I purchased oils from her since 2006, back when she sold her oils through her MySpace blog and Comcast website.  Since she moved to Etsy, she nearly doubled the prices of all of her products, not to mention they were all heavily-diluted (despite she claims they don't contain any diluents) and smelled completely different.

So, be careful with the majority of bath and body sellers on Etsy. Just browse around here, and research a company before buying from them.  Most of the people there just take advantage of whichever consumer base they are targeting, which is low.  Especially on a site where you're supposed to be selling stuff you made yourself.

Good luck, and sorry you got stiffed by this crappy seller.
