Anna Plaff planned the class reunion for western hights high school, this was for there 10 year reunion. my wife and i could not attend but she still cashed our check.the reunion was on the 16th and she deposited our check on the 18th!! If we did not go how could she just cash our check for something we DID not attend'

She did not call or email my wife to confirm if we was still going to attend the reunion instead SHE just ripped us off for our funds. some people in this world just like tp rip people off. i think its only fair for her to return our MONEY since we did nto attend.

How did she get your check? You paid in advance FOR A REASON. Did you call or e-mail before the event and say you weren't coming? Was it her job to confirm, again, who was going to attend? Did you expect her to count heads at the reunion and say "Anna didn't show up, so I'll just send her her money back". Who, by the way paid for the reunion? Just the people who showed up. IN THE REAL WORLD, they're called NO SHOWS. They get billed whether they show up or not. Were there expenses involved in putting on the reunion? Caterers and such get paid whether you so up or not. They require the number of people attending, IN ADVANCE, and get paid that amount, no matter how few show up.

You sent in a check, which would signify to me that you were coming. Based on that, she probably included you as a couple in the count of people, which when making a reservation counts toward the price (always done "per head"). If you chose not to go, that's your issue, and since she paid for your two dinners why should she be out money just because you couldn't go?
