The Last Word

Have waited all this time to file this rebuttal AFTER my house was sold and I was gone from Texas.  This man is capable of anything.  Obviously, he files fraudulent liens (excuse me, that's what the judge said when he released the lien this creep put on my home).  Took a while to make it to court since I was lucky enough to have a free attorney, but once there, it was a "no-brainer".  Lien was released in less than 3 minutes.

I am not doing this for revenge, only to protect the innocents out there.  Do your due diligence on this man and any form of his company (I understand there are many different names, including his own name with several variations).  Beware and be careful.  DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING HE PUTS IN FRONT OF YOU!!!  CHECK HIM OUT, FIND HIS PLACE OF BUSINESS.  It's kinda hard to send a recision letter without a good address.  Don't fall for him sending a salesman by a different name.  It's all HIM!  Lee or Leo Scheidler.  Make sure neither of these names are attached to a roofing company name.

Once I posted here I had people track me down who had the same problems and were looking for him.  This is a repeated process he uses.  Don't fall victim, it is very easy to file a lien.  All he needs is a signature and about $30.  I have lawyers and law enforcement family members and they report this is a common scam.

I am a retired decorator, so this hurts nothing for me.  I just hate to see people go through the legal process of dealing with this type of problem.  The only way to get rid of a lien is to hire an attorney.  It could be an expensive process.  Don 't get caught.  The internet is full of reports on him and on Atlas Roofing.  Read them for yourself.  Take care!

Oh and by the way, he got paid zero, zip, nada, nothing, which is about what he earned doing something legitimate roofers do for free.....climb on the roof and meet with the adjuster.

Yep it went all the way, and nope he didn't win.  Lastly, I would be too much of a lady to repeat what my ex-husband (still one of my best friends) has to say about him.  The reports speak for themselves, I believe they are the last word on the subject.

Laughable to say the least

There was no CONTRACT according to my lawyer, only a piece of paper allowing him to meet with my adjuster, which was shoved into my face saying I was signing permission for his company to get on my roof and meet with my adjuster, and yes, I did use my right of recission, but this man and his company has no permanent address.  The one truthful thing he says is that I thanked him, but the adjuster is the one who approved my roof, not the roofer.  Hard work = climbing a ladder and getting on a roof??  Laughable, laughable, laughable.  This man scams people for his living......not hard work.  He filed a lien for $20,000 when my roof was only $14,000.  Who is the greedy one in this scenario?  If my ex-husband or current husband could find this man, I don't think either one would be testifying on Leo's (Lee) behalf.  They would both like to know his whereabouts.  Trust me when I say BEWARE!!!  If you do your due diligence properly you will find many reports, arrests, judgements and unhappy customers/employees.  Be sure and check under all his names and company names.  Who is the deadbeat here?  Leo (Lee Scheidler and his company, Atlas Roofing.  Every thing I have is in my name, I pay my bills/taxes, I hide from no one.  Get in your car and try to find his place of business before you sign on the dotted line.  It will be a positive investment in your future.
