I am claiming that Nationwide Asset Services ripped me off by not disclosing the reprocaustions of joining their program, not doing what they promised, and ultimately making my debt situation much worse. It was cleary stated by Nationwide that I would have legal assitance if needed. When I was sued by Chase Bank, and I brought it the attention of Nationwide, their response was, "we said this might happen". I was told on several occasions not to have any dialog with my debtors, as this would only hurt the process.

So, when Chase Bank Visa continued to call me, I would stick to the programs plan, and refer them to Nationwide. Chase continued to tell me that they would not negotiate with a debt management company, but I was told by Nationwide not to listen, "they all say that". Nationwide's clear direction not to discuss/negotiate my situation with Chase was absolute financial suicide.

Nationwide bought my lead (who I had my mortgage with at the time), and prayed on me when I was the most vulnerable. Their entire organization is ethically, morally, and conceptually WRONG!! I want to thank in advance, and I hope that this type of blatant robbery can be stopped.

this program works and has helped hundreds of thousands of people elimnate their debts ,saving clients thousands of dollars. If you communicate or argue with your creditors you are defeating the purpose of ( Hiring a firm to speak for you)! professionals will always get better results then the consumer ever will, but not if the consumer interupts the negotiation process by dicussing their own settlements with the collection experts calling YOU.

Think about this for a minute (If it was easy for the consumer to do themselves, Would Arbitration companies exist? And second if you owe the money and have the money to pay your debts why would try to commit fraud by entering a hardship program for debt relief and expect a positive out come? The credit reporting companies and your creditors know your D.T.I(Debt To Income ) Ratio that gives them the guidelines to calculate your ability to pay your debt back. Credit cards are an addiction for some people and a nessesity for others just to get by in life.Either way eliminating debt is not easy and requires just as much dedication from the company you hire as well as from yourself, both working together to achieve the same goal,(Not by pulling in different directions).

Its all about COMMITMENT,Not just to the company you hire but to yourself and the goal ( freedom from the burden of debt).

Brett,
You are the perfect example of people that can not follow direction. If you could fix your own engine problems, why would you take it to a mechanic?????? Everything is spelled out for you in your enrollment/legal packet..... can you not read????????

YOU talked to your creditors!!! If you want serious help for a serious problem, YOU HIRE PROFESSIONALS!!!! AND, follow guidance. Nationwide would not be in this industry AS LONG AS THEY HAVE BEEN if they were not SUCCESSFUL in helping people get their financial lives back.

It took you awhile to get into this debt, what makes you think there would be a quick solution out???? You obviously owed alot of money. What made you think your creditors would not try to SCARE you into some form of payment????? (Great commission for the bill collector who works on commission!!) AND you get what????? further in debt. NO savings, penalties & interest still accrued, plus still in debt for an extremely long period of time, not to mention that your credit rating is still declining because you can't get out on your own.

Nationwide offers the quickest way for you to eliminate your debt. Your credit was already in the trash. When your leg is broken, what makes you think you can run a marathon???

For others who may read this... Do you want to be free of high interest credit card debt or do you prefer to contribute to the billion dollar profits per YEAR of these companies who pray on good people that try to do the right thing by attempting to pay on time and get slammed by interest rates that make it impossible for you to pay this off in a REASONABLE amount of time. (Do your kids need shoes?? When is the last time you went out to dinner to relax after a long, hard day of work AND actually enjoyed it? What about paying extra on your mortgage to secure your family future?)
Plan your life, live your life & GET DEBT FREE!

PS: Nationwide does not buy mortgages, they don't want your house, they want you out of debt.
